Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. -- T.S. Eliot

Goals: May 2018
Goals: May 2018
I haven't written a goal post in years. I haven't written in here in close to a year. That needs to change.
I have eight months until Jamaica. I have two months until Florida. I need to start worrying about myself and not everyone else. I need to find a center for my energy, and a purpose for myself. So, here we go.
- lose 5 pounds. Just a little over a pound a week. I have been stagnant since Thanksgiving. This needs to change.
- go to the gym 10 times. I think I can do more than this, but aiming low this go around.
- read at least one book from start to finish.
- blog at least once a week, even if it's short, even if it's what I had to eat for dinner. Reclaim the ability to talk about the things that matter to me, even if no one else reads it.
- before the end of month, start c25k. I've had such great success with it in the past, and I want to do it again.
- eat out no more than once a week.
- cook one new thing every week. (suggestions welcome!)
- sing, loudly and uninhibited.
- clean out the fridge.
- practice paying attention to negative self-talk. Knock that shit off.
I have so much to be proud of. I have accomplished so much in the last year, and now that my concentration is not centered around just getting through the day, I find myself slipping. I want to do better. I can do better. Any and all support is welcome. Meal planning, encouragement, telling me to get off my ass and just do it. Please.
